Mast related:

1. 15M (50 feet) aircraft grade anodized aluminum alloy mast
2. Compressor/pump (to raise the mast) with Teflon hose, pressure gauge and release valve
3. Aluminum dowel that connects tilt and pan head unit to mast

* We offer two 50 foot mast models - the 3.0 and the 3.5. The 3.5 model mast is a half inch wider in diameter than the 3.0 which makes it a more robust sturdier mast than the 3.0 model and handles much better in windy conditions as you can see in the photo below on the right. Both the retracted and elevated length is the same. The 3.5 is an additional 1,400. See pricing link. Comparison photos below.

One of the major advantages of using an SLR (single lens reflex camera) is that you have the ability to use interchangeable lenses. This is very important because you will need a very wide angle lens for those times when you do not have room to back your vehicle away from the subject a far enough distance to be able to fit the entire subject in the frame.
A point and shoot will only get you so far. Here is an example of a home shot with an 18-35 mm lens and the same home shot with a wide angle 10-22mm lens. We use our wide angle exclusively. One can always crop if there is too much of a margin but if you can't fit your subject into the frame you've lost a job - and potential future work. Having this ability is very important.
