Mounting Options

Vehicle mounting options:

Roof Mount - Resting

Roof Mount - Upright Retracted Doors Closed

Roof Mount - Upright Retracted Doors Open
Notice that both the tailgate and cap window can be opened while the mast is in use.
That is a very important feature as accessibility to the rear of the vehicle is imperative.

Side Mounted - Resting
The retracted mast can be locked in at any angle alongside your vehicle.

Side Mount - Upright Retracted
The side mount is universal such that it can attach to either the driver or passenger side of your vehicle.

Fully Extended

We use the vehicle mounting system exclusively versus a trailer or a tripod. With a vehicle mounted system, you are always at the ready. We leave the mast on our vehicle at all times. If necessary, removing the mast from the vehicle is very easy with both the roof and side mounted systems. Each method takes less than five minutes to detach from the vehicle. Both the side and roof mounting systems have the ability to level left to right and front to back - a very important feature.

The mount is the skeleton of a telescoping mast system. You want something that is not only stable and sturdy but also very quick to set up. We cannot overemphasize the importance of a strong, stable system. It is critical.

Our mounting system offers the best of both worlds - both maximum sturdiness and stability, and also the ability to be raised or lowered very easily and quickly. We do not recommend raising the mast without guy lines in winds over 15mph.

Other Options

Trailer - Trailers use the same exact mounting system as the side vehicle mounted system such that one could also use the elevated photography system on their vehicle with the proper mounting hardware in place. A trailer designed to accommodate the mast could be towed by any vehicle. It would be cost prohibitive to ship a trailer. We can, however provide plans and make recommendations for a trailer that would be the most suitable for you.

Tripod

Tripod - The tripod is foldable and portable weighing only 55 lbs., allowing a user to set up in virtually any location.
